The National Sales Manager position is directly responsible for driving the sales and marketing programs for the company’s HVAC line in the U.S. market.  He/she ensures that the execution of developed strategies, plans and programs and related activities are in accordance with sales objectives.  Ideally located in the northern US, this position reports to the North American Director of Sales - HVAC.




  • Develops and manages a knowledgeable successful sales team.
  • Manages U.S. customer base –Promotes and secures new sales opportunities by way of cold calling and networking, while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Develops sales opportunities through multiple distribution channels.
  • Serves as a product expert.  Understands and has the ability to effectively articulate equipment features, function, benefits and competitive advantage of our product line to potential clients.
  • Identifies, develops and provides marketing support tools and programs including technical and client sales training and trade show participation.
  • Converses with customers to discuss all aspects of proposals, opportunities, conducting presentations, existing projects and close opportunities.
  • Develops account growth plans and forecasting.
  • Manages and qualifies sales leads.
  • Works with NA Director of Sales and HVAC team to develop plans, objectives, goals, and business plans. Assists with the development of yearly and periodic sales forecasts and budget plans.
  • Establishes and maintains firm working relationships with all applicable company departments ensuring communication and the resolution of customer concerns and complaints.
  • Cultivates and sustains relationships with Builders, Architects and designers in an effort to gain and grow business.
  • Develops Dealer business in conjunction with Distributors.
  • Manages leads and develops direct reports.
  • Stays abreast of industry advances, market condition and competitor activities.





  • Bachelor degree or diploma in Business, Engineering or related discipline is preferred.



  • A seasoned sales Manager with 8 to 10 years’ experience in HVAC sales.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing and developing Sales personnel and Sales teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of continually meeting and exceeding Management’s defined sales targets and new client development objectives.
  • Proven ability in developing strategic business plans (i.e. sales and forecasting).
  • Extensive trade show and other promotional activity experience.
  • Significant exposure to working with Designers, Builders and Architect professionals.



  • Strong technical knowledge (HVAC).
  • Understanding of marketing functions and concepts.
  • Professional selling and strong negotiating capabilities
  • Sound knowledge of business and management principles and practices
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point, Internet and CRM
