National Account Executive

 

Our client an international manufacturer of consumer goods immediately requires a dynamic sales individual whose primary function is to manage National Accounts, Regional Accounts as well as the Premium Incentive channel. The NAE is responsible for growing existing customers, acquiring new customers and executing a comprehensive strategic sales plan to deliver on growth, revenue and profit objectives.

The successful candidate is ideally located in central or eastern USA and is open to up to 40% travel. A superlative communicator and team player, he/she will collaborate with R & D to identify new and innovative product opportunities, facilitate and be cognizant of customer logistics from factory to delivery and be a strong cross-functional team member with the purchasing, accounting, marketing and IT departments.

 

Skills & Knowledge:

  • University Degree or College Diploma level education is a must
  • Sales experience in Big Box DIY accounts
  • Ideally 5+ years’ proven National Account sales experience in a results oriented environment
  • Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, individualized and achievable sales solutions
  • P & L accountability
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and must be comfortable with productivity sales CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Able to build and foster long-lasting customer relationships
  • A strong prospector, closer and informed negotiator
