Our client an environmentally green company that repurposes used plastic jugs and bottles into beautiful solid furniture is growing and seeking a Sales Ambassador for Florida.

Ideally based in Florida and reporting to the VP Sales & Marketing, the overall purpose of the Territory Sales Representative is to promote and sell the company’s wide range of casual furniture through a Dealer direct network within the assigned geographic territory. In addition to aiding Dealers in their day to day activities you will represent the company in a professional manner.

· Visit Dealers to demonstrate new and current products, show samples and write orders.
· Schedule sales calls and promote the company to new Dealers in assigned territory.
· Quote pricing, prepared proposals and provide information to Dealers regarding terms, sale and availability of product including stock warehouse product.
· Provide product training on existing and new product to Dealers and relevant Dealer sales and support staff.
· Work closely with Dealers and plan and support weekend events including product demos, training and product merchandising where applicable.
· Work closely with Dealers in assisting them with showroom product merchandizing and showroom set up.
· Assist and participate in national, regional and local promotions for company products including trade and consumer shows where applicable.
· Present and book business through monthly specials and Early Buy programs.
· Actively communicate company activities and events through ‘social media’ such as Facebook, Twitter and Linked In
· Push Dealers to recognize and migrate up through the Dealer Loyalty Programs [Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum].
· Prepare monthly sales report detailing sales, activities, significant events, competition, etc.
· Collect competitor’s information on their products and pricing.
· Maintain at all times a variety of demo products for demonstration and training use [to be determined by the VP Sales & Marketing].
· Develop and grow non-tradition Dealer base such as Designers, Contractors and Commercial opportunities.
· Develop and grow ‘Brick & Click’ business and Internet business with qualified Dealers.
· Grow territory sales as determined by the VP Sales and Marketing.
· The ability to travel throughout the USA from time to time for Trade Shows and Events

· Requires a post secondary school degree and a minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience
· Must have extensive experience of supporting and growing product sales in a defined sales territory within the specialty retail environment.
· Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Knowledge of the Casual Furniture Market is an asset.
· Must be able to work independently and with limited supervision.
· Proficiency in computer skills including working knowledge of e-mail, PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
· A sales and marketing background with experience in Dealer recruitment.
