Territory Sales Representative

Our client is a major international supplier of software products and services. We immediately seek a:

Territory Sales Representative – Eastern GTA

Ideally based in the GTA,  the Territory Manager’s primary responsibility involves selling and promoting the company’s vast array of  leading software products within the designated geographic area. The primary focus is to develop relationships with the right type of businesses with future business growth in mind. Additionally, part of the job involves helping end users in their ongoing activities and representing the company in a professional manner.

Duties / Activities / Responsibilities:

* Aggressively grow sales in assigned geographic territory and as determined by the Ontario Regional Manager.

* Develop and grow traditional and non-traditional business base. 

* Schedule sales calls and promote the company to all prospects in assigned territory.

* Quote pricing prepare proposals and provide information to dealers or end users.

* Provide product training on existing and new products/services to dealers end users/support staff

* Assist and participate in national, regional and local promotions including trade and specialty shows where applicable.

* Actively communicate company activities and events through ‘Social Media’ such as Facebook and Twitter.

* Prepare monthly sales report detailing sales, activities, significant events, competition, etc.

* Collect competitor’s information on their products and pricing.

* Extensive territory travel and some weekend work as required.

* The ability to work from home office environment

Knowledge / Education / Experience:

* Must have experience of supporting and growing product sales in a defined sales territory within the IT or software sales or services

* A Hunter mentality in search of NEW Business

* A University Degree. preferred

* Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Must be able to work independently and with limited supervision.

* Time management skills.

* Proficiency in  computer skills including knowledge of MS Suite, Social Media applications and ideally SalesForce.com.


* Attractive base salary paid bi-weekly.

* Uncapped sales commission based on sales targets met in assigned territory.
