Inside Sales /Estimator

This full time, permanent position is an estimator and inside sales role for an international appliance manufacturer who will assist the department in preparing new projects and develop new contacts within the construction industry all over North America, with a focus on 85% new busines in the US, the rest in Canada.

Job Duties:

• Read and decipher project /blueprint specifications as it relates to new construction projects
• Interact with general contractors, architects, designers and the operations department to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives, specifications, and ability to bid projects
• Review plans and architectural drawings and prepare accurate take-offs on projects that will bid
• Assist in the preparation of bidding projects and provide proposals
• Find additional project opportunities and contacts via the Lead Generation program
• Set up meeting opportunities for self or Account Managers to do a Face to Face

Job Requirements:

• Analytical, problem solving and organizational/time management skills
• Enthusiastic and Self-Motivated
• Able to build and develop relationships
• Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and ConstructConnect)**
• Data Mining savvy
